Business Insider / Michael Ochs Archives/ Getty Images exercise equipment and training equipment is a growing sector for the tech-savvy.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2016, the industry saw $51.2 billion in sales, a 4.3% increase from the previous year.
That’s $10 billion more than in 2015.
But even more interesting is that these sales were not made on the strength of the technology.
The data also shows that fitness equipment is increasingly becoming a popular option among consumers, especially young people.
A survey of 2,000 millennials by the fitness company The Fitness Center revealed that they were increasingly looking to their personal trainers and coaches for advice about their fitness regimen.
“Young people tend to be looking for more personal coaching, and their trainers and coach can provide that,” said The Fitness Centers CEO, David Pugh.
The survey also revealed that more than half of millennials (54%) said that they would purchase a personal trainer and coach to get better results.
It’s a trend that’s not limited to millennials.
According the research firm iResearch, the fitness industry grew by nearly 17% in 2016 and is expected to grow by another 6% this year.
This growth will come at a cost.
“The average person spends $20,000 to $30,000 per year to buy fitness equipment, and the average person’s financial need for this equipment will likely double over the next 10 years,” said Pugh, referring to the growth of personal trainers, coaches, and equipment.
“It is difficult to predict how much these products will increase in value in the future, but we believe the trend will continue, as will the demand for more technology-enabled equipment.”
How to find a personal training and coaching partner The first step to getting a personalized fitness workout plan is to get a coach to meet you at the gym.
A coach can help you set up your routine and guide you through each exercise.
They can also help you with stretching and nutrition, as well as provide guidance about your workout goals.
Here’s what to expect from a personal coach: 1.
What you’ll need to meet the coach: A personal trainer can help with the first few exercises, but they will also be your personal trainers.
You’ll want a trainer who can: teach you the basic exercises that most people are familiar with, such as the squat and deadlift
